Anti-tumor activity of hybrid-peptide through dual targeting system using by Avidin-Biotin interaction |

In this study, we designed Transferrin antitumor hybrid peptide(Tf-peptide) of Biotinylation (bio-Tf-peptide) and RGD labelled Avidin(RGD-Avidin). We employed an avidin-biotin Dualtargeting approach, in which biotinylated Tf-peptide interaction with RGD-equipped avidin (RGD-avidin-bio-Tf-peptide). RGD-avidin-bio-Tf-peptide were characterized for SDS-PAGE performed on a mini-Protein II System. The RGD-avidin-bio-Tf-peptide size were determined by Dynamic Light scattering (DLS). The mophology of the RGD-avidin-bio-Tf-peptide were observed by Transmission elctron microscopy (TEM). We demonstrated the selectivity cytotoxic activity the cancer cell killing mechanism of this molecule. |
