제목 Synthesis and Characterization of polyimide-based nanocomposites containing amine functionalized multi-wall carbon nanotubes
초록 Multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MWCNT) have great potential for improving the properties of polymers because of their extremely high conductivity, mechanical properties, large aspect ratio, and low density. However, typical composite processing such as solution casting and blending with high CNT content has not been successful to achieve high electrical conductivity and mechanical properties due to the poor dispersion of CNT in polymer matrix. We will report an effective approach to prepare amine functionalized CNT/PI composite films by in-situ polymerization with high CNT content. Amine-functionalized CNT provide high mechanical property, high conductivity and a starting platform for the in situ fabrication of composite films by grafting amic-acid(PAA) at the reactive site of CNT nano-sheets. The mechanical and electrical properties will be discussed.
