PSA (pressure-sensitive-adhesive) have many advantages such as curing time (or drying time), early adhesion force and Etc. Especially, UV curing PSA have exceptional advantages in process of control properties such as peel, tack, heat resistance and ETC. When we control PSA's properties in UV curing system, functional monomer work an important role. Though same process, PSA's show complete opposite properties by different monomer using. General functional monomer is made from normal alkyl backbone. So they do not work after UV curing. The novel functional monomer is made from melamine backbone. Melamine is activated by high temperature and curing themselves. As a result, we can expect PSA's heat resistance and properties increasing. In this study, we compare existing UV-curing PSA with Novel type PSA, and analyze PSA's performance improve by melamine acrylate. |
