Fabrication of microfluidic system and synthesis of monodispersed particles including Ca/Fe/Al catalyst |

Microfluidic device(MFD) would be one of the most useful system to control the size of drop and property of polymer materials for the generation of exceptionally reproducible monodisperse polymer drop of microsize. In order to get polymer drop of microsize, some of the researchers have been brought the connection of microfluidic device with T-junction or flow-focusing method and UV polymerization techniques to synthesize polymer drop of microsize in the microfluidic systems. We used poly(ethylene glycole) diacrylate (PEGDA) materials to make a polymer drop including catalyst (water phase). Using monodispersed particles including Ca/Fe/Al made by MFD, we can expect to farbricate the ordered CNTs. It is difficult for us to synthesize monodispersed CNTs. We have to slove the problem which CNTs are farbricated disorderly. CNTs will grow up from the metal catalyst which are located on the surface of PEGDA polymer particles. |
