제목 | Synthesis of SiOx Powder by CO2 Microwave Plasma at Atmospheric Pressure |
초록 | Recently, there has been an increasing interest in Si-based material as a cathode material for secondary battery due to its excellent performance(speed, cycle and lifetime). In particular, many efforts have been dedicated to synthesize dense and compact powder. In this work, SiOx powders were synthesized using CO2 microwave plasma and SiCl4 as a starting material. The microwave plasma torch is simple, compact and economical because it can be made of the same magnetrons as the ones used in typical household microwave ovens. In applications of the microwave torch, it is important to effectively utilize electrons, ions, free radicals and other molecular species inside the flame. The high-temperature, high-density microwave plasma torch can provide a suitable circumstance to synthesize SiOx powder via the reaction of CO2 + SiCl4→ SiO + CO + 2Cl2. |
