제목 Performance improvement of P3HT/CdSe hybrid solar cell via organometallic compound treatment
초록 We fabricated poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT)/CdSe hybrid solar cells with organometallic compound treatment. Hybrid P3HT/CdSe blends were prepared by mixing pyridine-exchanged CdSe nanorods having a length of ~ 65 nm and a diameter of ~ 6 nm and P3HT in dichlorobenzene and pyridine. After spin-coating of P3HT/CdSe solution on ITO glass covered with PEDOT:PSS, organic ligands at CdSe surface was removed by organometallic compound treatment during annealing. The short-circuit current density of the device was increased with treatment of organometallic compound because of the more efficient charge separation at the interface and facilitated charge transport through the removal of organic ligands at CdSe surface and nanoscale aggregation of CdSe nanorods. Organometallic compound treatment was characterized by Fourier transform infra-red (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy.
