In the present study, the electrochemical properties, electrochemical activity and cobalt (Co) adsorption of electrodes (bare TNTs, reduced TNTs, Co doped TNTs) were examined in flow through process. The degradation rate of N, N-dimethyl-p-nitrosoaniline and iodide oxidation using the Co doped reduced TNTs was about 2-fold and 2.6-fold higher, respectively, than that of reduced TNTs. This electrode was also excellent for inactivation of E. coli. On the other hand, the Co doped TNTs electrode exhibited little improvement in its electrochemical properties and activity over the bare TNTs.
