There has been constant need for a sustainable organic template, which is sustainable and environmental zeolite membrane. In general, this kind of membrane was made from zeolite seed layer, however, there was no attempt to be made from nanosheets so far. We try to produce the template-free zeolite membranes prepared on alpha-alumina support using MFI-type nanosheets, template-free secondary growth solutions. Since using growth solutions free from organic templates, there is no calcination process so, we can obtain a defect-free membrane. Template-free membrane is obtained in short-time reaction and at a high temperature in the secondary growth solution aging the water, silica source, alkali metal. It can be used for gas separation such as N2 and SF6 separation. In addition, it is reusable and eco-friendly because there are no contaminated wastes during synthesis process that the membrane with the template. |
