제목 Manipulation of Colloidal Systems by a Hybrid Opto-electrokinetic Technique
초록 This presentation introduces manipulation of colloidal systems by a hybrid opto-electrokinetic technique, named rapid electrokinetic patterning. The technique can perform particle manipulation in a variety of forms through the simultaneous application of a uniform AC electric field and a focused laser. A large number of particles are not only rapidly concentrated and patterned but also dynamically traveled on an electrode surface. Moreover precise size-based separation and dynamic/ selective trapping of particles is achieved. The capabilities of REP technique are successfully extended for on-chip aggregation, patterning, translation, trapping and separation of bio-particles such as bacteria and fungi.
