제목 Effect of pore size to catalytic performance on iron-based Fischer-Tropsch Fe-K/Al2O3 catalyst
초록 Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was carried out in a fixed-bed reactor (inner diameter of 12.7 mm) to elucidate the effects of pore size to catalytic performance. The iron-based catalyst (Fe-K/Al2O3; weight ratio of Fe/K/Al2O3 = 20/4/100) was prepared by co-impregnation method on three different γ-Al2O3 support possessing an average pore size (dp) of 9 nm,10.5 nm and 19 nm which is supplied by Saint-Gobain. The observed high catalytic performance on Fe-K/Al2O3 (dp = 19 nm) is mainly attributed to the facile reducibility of iron oxides and high mass transfer coefficient on large pore, and the different catalytic activity is explained by adopting the characterization methods such as BET, XRD, TPR.
