The size-dependent tunable properties of nanomaterials are principal feature to the current excitement and progressing applications of nanomaterials. Among such nanomaterials, quantum dots (QDs) are generally used material for active component in device technology and biomedical technology, though research in biomedical technology using QDs has declined owing to their high toxicity and harmful fabrication process. So, we developed the Pdots using a single conjugated polymer (CP) with size-dependent tunable fluorescence color by reprecipitation and micro-emulsification method, as like as QDs. CP used here involved small portion of electron-accepting group and have different fluorescent colors in solution and solid states. Control of particle size enables to provide alteration in amount of electron transfer from electron donor to electro acceptor. These CP dots from a single CP can emit diverse fluorescent color excited at same wavelength. |
