Synthesis of UV curable PDMS-PU Composite Films and Their Properties |
초록 |
Water-borne polyurethane dispersions(PUD) have been known as environmental-friendly polymeric materials. But they have poor mechanical strength when it is synthesized with only polyol and isocyanate. To enhance theirmechanical properties, poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS)-PU copolymers were prepared, fabricated into films and cured by UV. Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) was used to verify whether the synthesized PDMS-PU copolymers were formed. Mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and elongation at break were measured using universal testing machine(UTM). Thermal properties were examined by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA). Water resistance was evaluated by contact angle test method. |
