제목 Cathode materials development for lithium ion batteries
초록 Energy is essential entity for human being like food, air, and water. However, today energy has been challenged by the lack of supply and the growing demand. Further serious problem is strong dependence of supply on fossil fuels. Energy storage can help to transform present energy paradigm based on fossil fuels into one based on renewable sources by increasing the utilization of renewable sources and by enabling the electrification of electric vehicles. Among other energy storage technologies, lithium ion batteries are very attractive for achieving the transformation because they have high energy density covering a wide range of energy spectra. The developing of lithium ion batteries is very important task. In this talk, I will discuss how to develop lithium ion batteries for achieving the transformation and I will present the way to develop LiFePO4 cathode material.
