제목 Fabrication of hybrid nanoparticles by calcium phosphate mineralization on polymer micelle nanotemplates
초록 Hybrid nanomaterials, particularly based on organic self-assemblies and inorganic calcium phosphates, have attracted much attention as novel drug carriers. In this study, we fabricated hybrid nanoparticles by calcium phosphate mineralization on polymer micelle nanotemplates of the core-shell-corona structure. Polymer micelles of PEG-b-Polyaspartate-b-polyphenylalanine (PEG-b-PAsp-b-PPhe) have successfully served as a nanotemplate for calcium phosphate mineralization. Calcium phosphate minerals on polymer micelles was formed by selective binding of Ca2+ ions on anionic polyaspartate middle layers of polymer micelles and subsequent addition of PO43- ions. Since a calcium phosphate layer on polymer micelles not only can increase stability of polymer micelles but also can be dissolved in endosomal pH and ionic conditions, the hybrid nanoparticle may have a potential as carriers for intracellular drug delivery.
