제목 Functionalization of nano-objects with “V-shaped” amphiphilic polymers
초록 Nanoparticles such as nano-diamonds and carbon nanotubes are functionalized with “V-shaped” polymer brushes of through a grafting-onto process using an ABC-type triblock copolymer. The block copolymer, PtBMA-b-PGMA-b-PS, is pre-pared through sequential radical polymerizations of tBMA, glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and styrene mediated by reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) process. Amphiphilic brushes are prepared after the hydrolysis of the PtBMA segment. The resulting hybrid materials self-assemble at oil-water interf-ace to form unusual large size droplets of water-in-oil and oil-in-water.
