A three dimensional, mathematical modeling of Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFCs) in single-channel type was performed adopting a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) technique. Using a developed model, we analyzed the effect of various fuel concentrations on cell performance. Generally several researches of SOFC modeling were performed assuming isothermal condition but it was not valid at every conditions. We solved energy equation in single-channel type and performed modeling considering the effect of Ohmic heating, convective heat transfer and the radiation. |
