Synthesis and photovoltaic conversion properties of new donor polymer containing malononitrile derivatives |

We reported new donor polymer containing malononitrile derivatives(2-(2-(4-methoxystyryl)-4H-chromen-4-ylidene)malononitrile) (MCM) that combines good solubility and strong electron withdrawing property. The polymer ((poly-2-(2-(2,5-bis(2,5-bis(dodecyloxy)-4-((E)-prop-1-enyl)styryl)styryl)-4H-chromen-4-ylidene)malononitrile) (MCM-DPPV) was synthesized by the heck coupling reaction. The MCM-DPPV has low band gap because of pull-push structure by MCM and DPPV. Blend of MCM-DPPV and PCBM fabricated the organic solar cell device. We measured photophysical properties and the property of photovoltaic by the blending materials. |
