Synthesis of Dibenzofulvene(DBF) and its Anionic Copolymerization |
초록 |
It has been well-known that 1,1-diphenylethylene(DPE) is a representative vinyl compound that does not produce homopolymer by organolithium-initated polymerization. Dibenzofulvene(DBF) exhibiting analogous structure to that of DPE may be polymerized by organolithium as the anionic initiator. The resulting polymer will show an electroluminescence property. Dibenzofulvene(DBF) was synthesized from 9-hydroxymethylfluorene by following the reaction procedures described in the literature. The well defined poly(DBF) and copolymer consisting of DBF and styrene were synthesized by anionic polymerization. In this presentation, we will discuss the results for the synthesis of poly(DBF) and poly(styrene-co-DBF) synthesized by organolithium-initiated polymerization. |
