[Senior Application Development Engineer]

1. Job title: Senior Application Development Engineer/ Liquid Crystal Division

2. Location of Workplace: 경기도

3. Key Accountabilities1

- Synthesize, purify and characterize OLED Materials according to customer’s requests.

- Provide technical support (additional sampling, chemical characterization) to the customers timely and accurately to maximize the customer satisfaction

- Provide technical support in organic synthesis to junior application development engineers

- Review and analyse literature and patent

- Collaborate with the OLED R&D organization in Germany

- Support and act as delegate of OLED Application Development Manager

4. Qualifications

Education- At least Master’s degree in organic chemistry, PhD in the related preferred

Experience- Ca 5 years experience in the related field

Technical Skills and Knowledge

- Solid knowledge and experience in synthetic organic chemistry, combined with excellent preparative skills

- Hands on experience in organic synthesis techniques

- Profound knowledge in standard analytical methods and their interpretation (HPLC, MS, GC, NMR, DSC, TGA, ICP-MS, ….)

- Knowledge of Intellectual Property

- Comprehensive knowledge of OLED materials, related industry and market trends

- Language- Fluent in Korean/English
