Position: WD PAD LAB Manager

 

Job Descriptions:

- Lead PAD team member in Korea to work on customer projects including specific tasks and maintain global coordination to support Product Management activities and projects to benefit both regional and global organizations

- Coordinate regional strategy development and implementation of WD product portfolio in alignment with global product and business managmenet

- Development, implementation and ensure the quality of promotional materials. Work with GPM, TMS and local sales as a technical expert for product promotion

- Support new business development activities Initiate and foster strategic co-operations with tool suppliers and customers

- Set-up working procedures in the lab according to global advanced materials standards and roll-out.

- Regularly discuss the project progress with global PAD and development teams.

- Exploer the needs of next generation products and collect marketing information of new opportunities as to establish business time frame.

- Technical coach and guide team members to strengthen their technical skills internally and provide cross functional training externally

- Forecase the needs and control the fixed cost in the lab

- Manage EHS of WD PAD lab

 

Qualifications:

- Master with 10+ year working experience or Ph.D with 6+ year working experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, or semiconductor manufacturing (tool supplier, chemical supplier or IC manuracturer) related field

- IC industry manufacturing experiences or industrial RD setting experience specifically in Electroplating or CuBEOL intetration related field with project management capability

- Fluent in English (verbal & written)

- Understanding of electroplating technology, electrochemistry, and polymers interaction

- Ability to communicate precise technical requirement, procedures, and results in written oral format

- Management experience  in directing, coordinating and managing team activities to accomplish high technical tasks
