Unseeded Semi - Continuous 에멀젼 증합에서 계면활성제 영향에 관한 연구
Effects of Surfactants in Unseeded Semi-Continuous Emulsion Polymerization
Emulsion polymerization experiments were performed at 40 ℃ with methacrylic acid(MAA), n-butyl acrylate(n-BA) and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate(2-EHA) using mixtures of anionic and nonionic surfactants. In general, the overall conversion in a mixed surfactant system was found to be better than in a single surfactant system. Emulsion particle size in a mixed surfactant system was observed to decrease with an increase in surfactant content. The Tg and molecular weight of emulsion particles were nearly independent of type, amount and mixing ratio of surfactants used during experiments. Emulsion prepared by mixed surfactants was found to show stability over 8 weeks.
