제목 The Role of Phase in NiMgAl Mixed Oxide Catalysts for Methane Dry Reforming of CO2
초록 The effect of the spinel and periclase phase support on the dry reforming of methane was checked by a series of Ni/Mg/Al mixed oxide catalysts with different ratios of Mg/Al. The ratio of two phases periclase/spinel increases with the ratio of Mg/Al. The sample with the ratio Mg/Al = 1.5 has both phases spinel (Mg-rich) and periclases with the distribution of all Ni, Mg, Al in two phases, and these phases are defective with the small crystalline size. Compared to the samples composed of only the spinel phase or the periclase phase, the presence of both defective phases can enhance the reducibility and the basicity of the catalyst, which act a key role in activating the reaction. As the result, the sample with the ratio of Mg/Al = 1.5 has the highest activity with longer stability and better coke resistance.
