Anti-tumor effects of anti-VEGF siRNA encapsulated with chitosan nanoparticle in vitro |

We synthesized LMPR(LMWSC-PEG-RGD) and the physicochemical properties investigated by using 1H-NMR, FT-IR, VEGF-siRNA complex measured Dynamic light scattering and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). The transfection cytotoxicity of LMPR also was determined by MTT assay. The LMPR Nanoparticle was investigated to siRNA carrier. We describe the feasibility of using chitosan nanoparticles for successful VEGF-siRNA delivery to finally reduce the VEGF level in PC3 cell in vitro. The results demonstrated that the chitosan carrier not only plays an important role in delivery of siRNA into cells but also protects siRNA from RNase degradation..
