제목 마그네슘 망간 기반 플렉서블 스피넬 구조 산소전달입자의 CH4-CLC 반응에서의 구조 변화 및 산소전달 성능 연구
초록 This study aims to elucidate the active species present in spinel crystals composed of Mg and Mn calcined at various temperatures and to determine the relationship among the crystal structure, oxidation state, and oxygen transport capacity. The structural transformation to Mg0.43Mn0.57O occurred owing to the presence of oxygen vacancies in the lattice upon reduction with methane and the enormous shrinkage between M–O bonds caused by the migration of cationic metals into the inner crystal. This structural transformation created maze-like large spaces 50–75 nm in size, but when oxidized, oxygen molecules filled the maze and the structure was perfectly restored to the original mixed inverse spinel [Mg0.73Mn2+0.27]td[Mg0.77Mn(3+,4+)1.23]ohO4 polyhedron. The oxygen transfer capacity of MMO-1100 calcined at 1100 °C was improved to 8.10% in the CH4-CO2/air redox system, and the abundance ratio of [(Mn3+)+(Mn4+)]oh/(Mn2+)td corresponding to the oxygen-transferring redox species was 4.5.
