This study was examined to the development for atopic dermatitis treatment using paeonia lactiflora. Biological activity compounds from paeonia lactiflora were extracted with various organic solvents (methanol(MeOH),n-hexane, ethylacetete (EtOAc), butanol (BuOH)), and its antimicrobial activity against candida albicans, staphylococcus epidermidis, staphylococcus aureus, pityrosporum ovale, malassezia furfur was investigated by paper dice method. The chemical structure of extracts was identified by HPLC, FT IR and 1H NMR. In the EtOAc extract of paeonia lactiflora, antimicrobial activity against all microbial was the highest another solvent extracts. Based on these results, it is possible to introduction of paeonia lactiflora into biomedical fields such as atopic dermatitis treatment.
