Improved charge separation over strongly coupled 2D-hybrid of Ni1−xCux‒LDH @CoS/g-C3N4 heterostructures for highly efficient solar light H2 evolution |
초록 |
Constructing photocatalysts with improved charge separation and fast surface reaction kinetics is crucial factor to realizing efficient photocatalytic water splitting performances. Herein, a new strongly coupled two-dimensional-ternary-heterostructure photocatalyst by sequentially introducing cobalt sulfide (CoS) and NiCu-layered double hydroxide (NiCu-LDH) on the surface of a graphene carbon nitride (g-C3N4) via a facile hydrothermal and co-precipitation methodology, respectively. The as-synthesized 2D-Ni1−xCux‒LDH @CoS/g-C3N4 material exhibited remarkable photocatalytic H2 production activity under simulated solar irradiation. The improved photocatalytic activity which could be attributed to the efficient interfacial CoS/g-C3N4 heterojucntion interface, and the enhanced hole (h+) trapping ability. |
