제목 Improved charge separation over strongly coupled 2D-hybrid of Ni1−xCux‒LDH @CoS/g-C3N4 heterostructures for highly efficient solar light H2 evolution
초록 Constructing photocatalysts with improved charge separation and fast surface reaction kinetics is crucial factor to realizing efficient photocatalytic water splitting performances. Herein, a new strongly coupled two-dimensional-ternary-heterostructure photocatalyst by sequentially introducing cobalt sulfide (CoS) and NiCu-layered double hydroxide (NiCu-LDH) on the surface of a graphene carbon nitride (g-C3N4) via a facile hydrothermal and co-precipitation methodology, respectively. The as-synthesized 2D-Ni1−xCux‒LDH @CoS/g-C3N4 material exhibited remarkable photocatalytic H2 production activity under simulated solar irradiation. The improved photocatalytic activity which could be attributed to the efficient interfacial CoS/g-C3N4 heterojucntion interface, and the enhanced hole (h+) trapping ability.
