Temperature effect on gas separation membrane and process optimization for CO2 capture from post-combustion flue gas |
초록 |
Multi-stage membrane cascade to get high concentration of CO2 has been developed in this work. The operational condition such as flowrate, membrane area ratio, temperature and feed/permeate pressure have been optimized to get high purity of CO2. Notably, after temperature optimization, the separation process could reach over 99% of CO2 purity at permeate side, even at 2.0 bar at feed pressure, which is enough to be practicable commercially. As a result, we achieved higher than 99% of CO2 purity with only two-stage membrane cascade with lower feed pressure. In this talk, we present overall consideration of CO2 capture process using membrane configuration and optimization of operational condition.This carbon capture process can be applied for post-combustion treatment from power plant flue gas. |
