제목 Synthesis, Optimization, Characterization and modification of Titania nanotubes
초록 High purity anatase titania nanotube obtained by controlled hydrothermal treatments and was optimized. The anatase nanotube with 90:10 Ti to Si ratio was in good quality and clean with diameter  8 nm. Then anatase nanotubes were modified by H2O2 treatment of low crystalline nanotubes. This modified nanotube showed high crystallinity similar to TiO2 nanoparticles. Detail structures were elucidated by HR-TEM, FE-SEM, XRD, Raman, PL and BET surface area. Modified nanotubes was found to be a multi-walled anatase phase only with an average outer diameter of  8 nm and grown along [001] direction to 700 nm long with interlayer fringe distance of ca. 0.78 nm. Photocatalytic activity of modified nanotube was about 2-fold higher than of its counterparts for trimethylamine oxidation.
