A method has been presented for determining the hydrodynamics of three-phase airlift bioreactors. It is recommended for engineering computations as well as for numerical simulations considering high speed of algorithms used. On the basis of the proposed model the characteristics of the bioreactor may be assessed at three different hydrodynamic conditions.
