The paper includes studies on analysis of solids suction from a 670 MWth CFB boiler. The presence of a concentrated solids flux was detected at the wall of the combustion chamber. In the core region of the combustion chamber, an intensive solids elutration phenomenon into the cyclones was observed, thus indicating the existence of the core-wall layer flow in a large scale CFB boiler combustion chamber.
