The results of experimental studies on the distribution of hydrodynamic parameters like: the friction coefficient, shear rate and shear stress on the vertical wall of an agitated vessel equipped with four impellers have been presented. The experimental studies were carried out for two model polymer solutions, carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt (Na-CMC) and guar gum. On the basis of the results obtained, the correlation expressions have been proposed.
