Processing polyurethanes: The innovations continue
Polyurethanes are unrivalled in their versatility. At the heart of the technology is the simple reaction between an isocyanate (NCO) group and a hydroxyl (OH). But so many different chemical structures can be attached to these groups, so many different additives can be used with them, and so many different types of equipment can be used to process them that the limits to their possible use are left to the imagination.
