Retention times were measured and Kovats indices (I) were calculated for 14 aryladamantanes on a fused-silica capillary column with the bonded stationary phase SE-30. Using the Kovats indices available from the literature, a comparative analysis was performed on the elution of these compounds and structurally related alkylbenzenes on a nonpolar phase.
