Supported bimetallic ruthenium-containing catalysts in the Fisher-Tropsch synthesis
The physicochemical, adsorption, and catalytic properties of bimetallic Ru-M (M = Fe, Cu, Co, Cr, Ce, V, or Mn) Fischer-Tropsch catalysts supported on Al(2)O(3) were systematically studied. The formation of Ru(0) and Ru-M cluster structures, which determine the activity and selectivity of the catalysts in the CO hydrogenation reaction, was shown. The adsorption of carbon monoxide and hydrogen and the mechanism of their interaction were considered.
