Regular and stearic acid or methyl silicone resin-hydrophobized limestone powders were studied for thermal decompn. by thermogravimetry and DTA at 20-1100 degrees C to dot. their antiexplosive properties. Formation of CO(2) was obsd. at 700-800 degrees C during the decompn.
