Analysis of the surface of profile-milled metallic biomaterials used in prosthetic dentistry
Profile-milled, blast sanded or founded com. CoCr and CoCrMo alloy prosthetic elements compn. and electrochem. corrosion resistance optionally after passivation in 0.9% NaCl soln. at 10-40 mV. The profile-milled elements showed the highest homogeneity of the chem. compn. The passivation at 10 mV resulted in an increased corrosion resistance of the elements.
