Fast-dissolving hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC) films containing hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP) microparticles with a bitter drug were prepared for taste-masking in oral delivery. Indomethacin was rapidly released from the HPMCP microparticles under intestinal condition, rather than oral and gastric conditions.
