Twenty shale rocks were studied for sp. surface, N-2 kadsorption and fractal dimensions under rel. pressure up to 1. Bottle neck and slit-shaped pores dominated in the rock pore morphol. The total rock porosity was 4.26-11.75%. The low-temp. sp. surface was 2.03-15.04 m(2)/g.
