Use of the hydrophobic blackberry extract obtained by extraction with supercritical carbon dioxide for the preparation of cosmetic masks
Extract from the blackberry seeds produced under conditions of supercrit. CO2 was added (up to 8% by mass) to formulation of cosmetic masks as an emulsion at room temp. to replace the commonly used grape seed oil. The addn. resulted in increasing the formulation viscosity, color intensity and skin hydration degree as well as in decreasing the yield points.
