Anhydrous AcONa was produced in reaction of AcOH with Na2CO3 in aq. soln. at 80 degrees C for 5 h and sepd. by spray drying in air stream at 110-120 degrees C. The neutralization enthalpy was 14276 kJ/kg, the grain size of the product was 80-500 mu m.
