The joint European EPDM suppliers, co-ordinated by the IISRP European Section, recognized the need for standardization of EPDM characterization tests for quality control and specification purposes, to achieve more uniformity in the way the various EPDM-suppliers provide pertinent data to their EPDM-consumers. A working group was established which over a period of 6 years developed a set of ＇＇best practice＇＇ test methods for EPDM. The results of these activities are described in this paper.
