TPE can be used in the rubber industry and may give advantages if used right. Empirical studies show a knowledge gap concerning use of TPE in calandered articles like roofing sheets and car mats. The wide-spread ignorance of TPE demands intensive activities of the rubber industry, even with the synthesis of TPE-V＇s. Some main parameters of influence on synthesis are mentioned as well as their influence on article design and TPE-V processing.
