Reactivation of a nickel-poisoned cracking catalyst with oil-soluble passivators
An oil-soluble passivator based on bis-tributyl phosphate trichloride has been developed the synthesis of which is carried out under mild conditions by the reaction of antimony trichloride with tributyl phosphate. The passivator effectively reactivates nickel-poisoned catalysts of different composition.
