State-of-the-art, one step thermoformable EMI shielding
Until recently, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding was best applied to plastic parts in post-mold operations, such as conductive painting or plating. The availability of a thermoformable shielding material, described here by the authors, has changed all that by permitting thermoformers to add EMI shielding during the forming process.
