NMR-Study on Ionic-Conduction in Silver and Alkali-Halides
The data of the temperature dependence of nuclear quadrupole relaxation rate, 1/T-1 in silver and sodium halides with the rocksalt structure are compared with an ionic model calculation, in which the degree of covalency is estimated. The results are discussed in connection with the ionicity of A(N)B(8-N) binary compounds.
