친수성 TiO2 Sol 제조 및 특성(Ⅰ)

Titanium tetra-ethoxide를 출발물질로 하여 10 nm이하의 입도 분포를 가지고 pH=4 범위에서 안정한 TiO2 sol을 합성하였다. 합성된 sol은 유리기판에 spray-pyrolysis coating 법으로 증착시켜 anatase 상의 TiO2 thin film을 형성하였다. 막이 형성된 유리기판 위에 자외선을 조사하면서 물과의 접촉각을 측정한 결과, 자외선 조사에 따라 접촉각이 10。정도로 감소하는 친수 특성을 나타내었다.
TiO2 sol was prepared by using titanium tetra-ethoxide as a precursor. TiO2 particles with an average size less than 10 nm were dispersed stably in the sol at pH of 4. Spray-pyrolysis coating of the prepared sol on the glass plate resulted in the TiO2 thin film that had crystalline phase of anatse. As the result of contact angle measurements of water with irradiation of UV on the thin film, it was showed that the contact angle decreased up to 10°, revealing the hydrophilic property.
