A Study on the Surface Treatment of Shoe Leather
Surface treatment was tried to supply water desorption and sensual property, defects of shoe-leather. To do that, acryl binder, urethane binder, and fluorine binder, the kinds of surface treatment agents were used. The appropriate method of coating was decided by viscosity of each binder. The special functional group was explained by using FT-IR Spectrophotometer. The Speciality of mechanical property was predicted by using scanning electron microscope. The degree of smooth of surface was estimated by using image analyzer. After this experiment, I found the order in the side of gloss as follows: fluorine binder > acryl binder > urethane binder. Also, in the side of water desorption, fluorine binder > urethane binder = acryl binder.
