New equations and models to describe the two-dimensional properties of solid surfaces
This paper concerns to the determination of the surface areas of model organic molecules adsorbed on solid substrates, and the quantification of physico-chemical properties of polymers and/or oxides. New equations or models are obtained and used to determine the acid-base superficial characteristics of solid substrates like oxides and/or polymers. These various models are very useful to determine the second-order transition temperatures of some polymers or polymers adsorbed on oxides and to calculate the acid-base constants of solid substrates with more accuracy.
