Ion conductive film was prepared from flexible poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and double stranded DNA chains from salmon milt. The ionic conductivity of this DNA/PEO film was greatly improved by the addition of NaClO4. The highest ionic conductivity of 4.2 x 10(-4) S cm(-1) was observed at 25 degrees C.
