Computer controlled equipment for the dynamical measurement of vapour-liquid equilibrium data
A computer controlled equipment for the measurement of precise vapour-liquid eqilibrium data at normal and low pressure using the dynamic method will be introduced. The equipment, whose core component is an all-glass modified Roeck and Sieg type circulation still, allow both isobaric and isothermal measurements through the coupling of two automatic control loops in a process computer and a pulse modelled control of two magnetic values. The quality of the measured data using the introduced equipment will be demonstrated through comparison of the measured vapour pressure data of the pure components decane and P-cresol with data from the literature and of vapour-liquid equilibrium data in the binary system de-cane + 2-cresol.
